Spirited Play Labs, an inclusive play space for young
Spirited Play Labs, an inclusive play space for young children and their families. Many of the children who visit our space are disabled or neurodivergent. Beginning in June, we are running our Summer Hangouts program and are looking for high school student volunteers to help support our staff and engage with children through play and activities. It’s a great opportunity for students interested in child development, education, psychology, or pediatric therapy. We are also hiring Summer Camp Support Staff. The Girls on the Run Bay Area Junior Coach program.
The Girls on the Run Bay Area Junior Coach program. Students (ages 16-18) can volunteer twice a week alongside a Mentor Coach, serving as role models for younger girls in our program. Do you want to become a Youth
Do you want to become a Youth Referee as well as getting volunteer hours? Anyone can become a referee, and you would just need to complete an online course and in person training. Once you complete those, you can begin refereeing, and there are games every Saturday for fall and spring seasons in Foster City, and there are 8, 10, or 12 year old games to referee. The San Mateo-Burlingame Auxiliary to the Lucille
The San Mateo-Burlingame Auxiliary to the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford is a volunteer group of about 50 women who raise awareness and funding for the hospital. This is a valuable event that increases awareness of the life-saving services of the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital. The financial contribution helps perpetuate these services. Our annual fundraiser is a Game Day at the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Alameda De Las Pulgas in Belmont.
